The Curse of Israel-Pt 3
By Anthony Smith To understand prophecy we must not just look at it as a preview of the future but also as the past present and future. Many of the curses on Israel are past curses and present. God States; Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. When we read the words of the disciples and prophets are not their words but are the words of God. For example lets read; Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel( The son of Adam) unto the blood of Zacharias(Zechariah, the son of Jehoiada, 2Ch_24:20-21, and he may have been called “the son” of Barachias, from his grandfather. (B.C. 838). He is mentioned as being the martyr last recorded in the Hebrew Scriptures (as Abel was the first), Chronicles being the last book in their canon.) son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. God and His prophecy’s delivered by His servants are generally noted from;The First and The Last. Mat 27:23-25; And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified. When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude( This act was an attempt of Pilate to put the entire blame on the Jews but He was also held accountable., saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.( This last phrase was the words that offend many of the House of Israel, not understanding what I was stating. This phrase was a curse asked for by,all the people His blood be on us, and on our children Quote’ the I am sick and tired of just about everyone blaming the Jews as a nation just because of some hateful words spoken by some fanatic individuals [there were Jews and Gentiles in that group] in a state of frenzy at the height of a particular moment. Did not Jesus declare on the Cross, “Father forgive them, they know not what they do?” That is a blatant lie! If the Jews were cursed that would mean they would of been destroyed. un-quote. The Nation of Israel was destroyed, according to prophecy, but shall, as today, be rebuilt, again to fulfill prophecy. We must look at prophecy with our spirit and reasoning and not with our carnal mind, which only sees things in black and white. Again who Killed Jesus? All Did. Act 4:27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, Act 4:28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. Our emotions, if not held in check, as we read prophecy, will leed us down the wrong path. The destruction of Israel began under the Mosaic Law according to Moses. Quote; If the Jews were cursed there would of been no Pentecost. Pentecost was a fulfillment of prophecy. intended to acquaint us with the Holy Ghost and the power He delivered to all who believe, to the Jew first and the Gentile. The acts at Pentecost were for the redeemed and saved, those that believed in Jesus and not the un-believer. One must be saved to receive the Power of the Holy Ghost. (On the Pentecost after the resurrection of Jesus (50 days from the Passover in which He was crucified), the Holy Spirit, according to the Acts of the Apostles, descended on the disciples in the form of tongues of fire accompanied by the sound of a rush of wind, and gave them the power of speaking in such a way that people of different languages could understand them. The Holy Spirit only comes to those that are believers in Jesus as the Christ. The Christian feast of Pentecost is an annual commemoration of this event, and it is solemnly observed as the birthday of the church and the feast of the Holy Spirit.). The noun Shavuot has one meaning:(Judaism) Jewish holy day celebrated on the sixth of Sivan to celebrate Moses receiving the Ten Commandments. So as you see here Pentecost ( a Christian celebration) and Shavuot ( A Hebrew celebration) is concerning two different celebrations. Quote; If the Jews were cursed I wouldn’t be here believing in Christ the way I do. If the Jews were cursed the Apostle Paul would never of had the Divine experience with Jesus on the way to Damascus. Un-quote. We must remember that its not the individual Jew that was cursed, for many Jews accepted Jesus as the Christ. Then and now. The curse was and still is on The NATION of Israel. Paul was exclusively a preacher to the gentiles. Acts 9:15 states; But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:’ This is showing Paul’s anointing as a Minister 1. Gentiles. 2. Kings and 3. Jews. 1Co 10:32 Give none offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:(Give none offense in things indifferent (1Co_8:13; Rom_14:13; 2Co_6:3); for in all essential things affecting Christian doctrine and practice, even in the smallest detail, we must not swerve from principle, whatever offense may be the result (1Co_1:23). Giving offense is unnecessary, if our own spirit cause it; necessary, if it be caused by the truth.) He (Paul) rebuked the disciples for being two-faced. Heres proof , Gal 2:11-14. But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; in-so-much that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? (jfb; literally, to Judaize, that is, to keep the ceremonial customs of the Jews: What had been formerly obedience to the law, is now mere Judaism. The high authority of Peter would constrain the Gentile Christians to regard Judaizing as necessary to all, since Jewish Christians could not consort with Gentile converts in communion without it.) Act 9:22-23; But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ. And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him: Jer 24:9 And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them. Jer 25:18 To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day; Dan 9:11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. Mal 2:2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. The Jews did not kill Christ. To think that God, who knows all things, would put a stumbling block in front of His own chosen people so that they could kill God, is blasphemy. It is written, “For God tempts no man with evil.” Jesus Himself declared, “No man taketh my life, for I have the AUTHORITY to lay it down, and the AUTHORITY to raise it back up again.” ( 1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: where-unto also they were appointed.) No man took His life, for Jesus laid it down willingly as an atonement for our sins; for the sinfulness of all mankind. That is the Gospel. The Bible declares, “For when we were without strength, Christ died for the un-Godly.” It is this lie, this conceit, this hatred that killed my family in the death camps, and over six million fellow Jews. I can only teach and preach on what Gods word says. Trying never to give offense but only to deliver the truth.
